노즈는 점토와 마른 곡물에서 출발해 볏짚과 삼베 같은 건조한 향으로 이어진다. 해변 조약돌과 흰 후추가 뒤를 받치고, 처음의 과묵함은 시간이 지나면서 서서히 풀린다. 53.1도의 팰럿은 향보다 완성도가 높아 왁스와 옅은 피트, 감귤과 미네랄이 기름진 질감 위에서 맞물린다. 피니시는 중간 길이로 짜고 후추 향이 남는다. 리필 셰리 벗에서 17년을 보낸 1997년 듀티 페이드 샘플이다.

better! Classically waxy, lightly peaty, coastal, citrusy, mineral, pebbley, salty and some wonderful waxes and oils mingling together. Superb!
