Tasting Notes
잔을 천천히 돌리면 럼 캐스크가 마무리한 옅은 금빛이 잔 안을 은은하게 채운다. 코를 가까이 하면 글렌피딕 특유의 잘 익은 배와 사과에 럼에서 온 바나나와 흑설탕 향이 겹친다. 한 모금을 머금으면 43.2도의 술이 부드럽게 혀를 덮으며 통조림 복숭아와 옅은 담뱃잎, 가죽이 번진다. 두 번째 모금에서는 흑당과 구운 파인애플이 한 겹 더 드러난다. 21년을 채운 그란 리제르바 럼 캐스크 피니시답게 오크와 달큰함의 균형이 단단하다. 목을 넘긴 뒤에는 크리미한 몰트와 레몬, 옅은 루바브의 산미가 산뜻하게 남는다.

some ODE for sure (Old Decanter Effect ;-)) and some smoke for sure, with a much fatter mouth feel than that of the Vintage, loads of green tea, and some earthy bitterness. It’s firm and almost big malt whisky, tenser than any current Glenfiddich, but it’s true that this is mid-1960s distillation, partly using, perhaps, some barley malted at Balvenie
timer Finish
rather long, a little creamier and certainly very ‘sweet-malty’. Hints of lemon and fresh rhubarb in the aftertaste
