맑은 황금빛이 잔 안에서 부드럽게 빛난다. 새 천 년을 기념해 병입된 글렌피딕은 1984년의 잘 익은 배와 사과, 옅은 꿀의 향을 단정하게 피워 올린다. 한 모금 머금으면 보리 사탕과 바닐라, 시트러스의 풍미가 매끄럽게 번지고 40도가 가볍고 순하게 흐른다. 여운에는 꿀과 마른 오크, 옅은 풀잎이 잔잔히 잠겨 길고 깔끔하게 마무리된다.
