오래 묵은 금빛이 잔 안에서 은은히 일렁인다. 1968년에 빚어 서른 해를 보낸 글렌피딕 빈티지 리저브는, 잔을 코끝에 두면 허브차와 장뇌, 오래된 호두에 멘톨과 유칼립투스의 서늘함이 겹쳐 열린다. 한 모금 머금으면 상큼한 시트러스와 새콤한 사과, 배가 놀랍도록 생기 있게 번지고, 48.8도의 도수가 원숙하게 감긴다. 여운은 여린 케이크의 달큰함과 풋풋한 그린페퍼콘의 알싸함을 남기며 신선하게 이어진다.

a little more depth, more herbal teas, some camphor, old walnuts, menthol, eucalyptus, old 'vicar's' apples and some kind of vegetal smoke, garden bonfire… Some green lemons too, rhubarb… In short, there's a lot of freshness in this one

lovely citrusy arrival, then a long development on the same tart apples and pears. A rather surprising profile which would make some of us think of Rosebank at times

medium, still very fresh but with more classic cakey notes. Some green peppercorns in the aftertaste
