잔을 흔들면 맑은 황금빛이 유리 벽을 타고 느리게 흐른다. 코끝을 가져가면 세 가지 오크에서 온 마른 나무의 향이 특이하게 감돌고, 옅은 재와 마른 풀의 뉘앙스가 그 뒤에 얹힌다. 한 모금 머금으면 40도의 도수가 사과 주스 같은 상큼함과 나무의 건조한 스파이스를 혀 위에 펼치며 글렌피딕 트리플 오크만의 개성을 드러낸다. 삼킨 뒤에는 살짝 짭조름하고 건조한 여운이 은근하게 남아 이어진다.

dry, you'd almost believe you're nosing an old coal pit, and certainly an old ashtray. It's not that it is very smoky, but the profile is very unusual, acrid, rather unpleasant. A little burnt rubber, hay smoke. I think I used to like it a little better back in the days
