더프타운의 사슴 골짜기에서 이름을 얻은 글렌피딕은 세계에서 가장 많이 팔리는 싱글몰트의 고향이다. 아메리칸 오크와 유러피언 셰리 캐스크에서 12년을 보낸 시그니처 몰트는 맑은 골드빛을 띤다. 43도의 향은 배와 풋구스베리, 그래니 스미스 사과의 산뜻함에 옅은 아카시아 꿀이 깔린다. 한 모금 머금으면 평소보다 단 사과 리큐어 같은 달큼함이 번지며 상큼한 사과가 받친다. 여운은 달고 상큼해 독일 리슬링을 떠올리게 하며 적당히 이어진다.

sweeter than your regular Glenfiddich, reminding us that that English pommeau is a liqueur, so very sweet. Certainly very good, but we've lost a part of the lightness that we really enjoyed when nosing it, while this would rather be geared towards Spanish apple liqueur, Manzana Verde or else. Still good though, thanks to the zesty apples
