Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 잘 익은 사과와 보리, 바닐라, 스펀지케이크 향이 먼저 두드러지고 가벼운 맥주 같은 뉘앙스가 뒤따른다. 글렌피딕 12년을 떠올리게 하는 친숙한 향이다. 팰럿은 생각보다 힘이 있어 후추와 생강, 바닐라가 또렷하게 발전하며 풀 같은 홉의 쌉쌀함이 비친다. 피니시는 중간 길이로 비터 자몽의 드라이한 끝맛이 깔끔하게 이어진다. 버번 배럴로 숙성한 글렌피딕 14년의 산뜻한 곡물 골격이 명확하게 드러나는 보틀링이다.

it’s got some oomph, some pepper, some ginger, some vanilla, more ginger, and indeed a beer-like side. But many young malt whiskies have beer-like sides. Whether you could call this baby a hoppy malt remains to be seen, and if it’s hop, it’s rather grassy hop, we’re far from, say fruity Californian IPAs

medium, a little bitter, but that’s quite pleasant. Bitter grapefruit. Very dry/sour aftertaste
